Demential and Alzheimer's

Our care workers can provide general support to the Service Users’ by managing their mail and calendar’s to remind them to write and send birthday cards, that they are due to attend a social events or appointments, so these are not missed or forgotten.

They can also provide the service user general support with gardening, doing the shopping and other errands like picking up the pension from the post office or banking.

We can work with you to develop a customised home care plan that meets your loved one’s needs with one or more services.

Sleep in / Wake in nights

We can provide care and support workers overnight on a temporary or permanent basis. A sleep in is normally for a total of 10 hours starting between 8pm and 10pm and finishing between 6am and 8am.

As part of our overnight care services, the care and support workers should be able to sleep for a total of 6 hours and not be disturbed more than twice in the night.

Thus, the rate charged for this is at a greatly reduced rate to the hourly rate. A wake in night is charged at the full hourly rate as the care and support worker will be awake all night.

House Hold and Domestic help Home Care

Our care and support workers can help from one hour to living with you. Perhaps you need someone once a week to help with cleaning your house. Perhaps, you need someone to live with you Monday to Friday to help pay the bills, clean the house every day, change your bed linen, make your bed, helping walk the dog and shopping.

Perhaps you need someone all the time to live with you. You will be personally introduced to your team of care and support workers.

End of Life

Moreover, you must talk with your family, friends and neighbours or anybody that you trust for helping out in an emergency. It is always a good idea to have contact information handy when dealing with a person with dementia. Note down the phone numbers of a medical team and make a list of all their current medications along with the dosage and frequency that they have to be taken. You must keep this list easily accessible at all times.
